Songs of the Hill
This is a song cycle of three movements, written for and performed by Mezzo Soprano, Katie Thompson. The text is from John Keats poem "I stood tip toe" and divided between the work's movements. These songs were adapted to a full orchestral version (without voice) that won the 2018 Longy Orchestral Composition Competition and was premiered in 2019.
